We opened our second Herbiary at Reading Terminal Market in 2010. Visiting Reading Terminal Market is an adventure! While the railroad that gave that station its name is long gone, you can still find fish mongers and butchers, produce stands and coffee stalls in the cavernous market space below the old tracks.

It's easy to spend hours browsing through our herbs and essential oils or wandering the Market, where you can find a wide variety of fabulous food stalls and produce from nearby farms. We love being a little patch of "green" in the bustling heart of Center City Philadelphia.

All SEPTA regional rails stop at the Market East Station located across the street from the Reading Terminal Market.

Plants grow joyously at our Chestnut Hill location, reminding us of the roots of our herbal remedies. The garden is what drew us to this little house on Germantown Avenue.

Walk through the garden gate to a magical place where neighbors come to shop, chat, and enjoy the greenery. We've been told it feels like Vermont…or Provence. Either way, you'll feel like you're not in Philadelphia any more!

Chestnut Hill is perfect for strolling and enjoying the shops and restaurants. Out-of-town guests have easy access to the historic sites in Germantown as well as the wooded trails of Fairmont Park.

The SEPTA Chestnut Hill East and Chestnut Hill West passenger rails deliver you to Chestnut Hill straight from Center City. SEPTA's 23 bus route stops a few steps from our door.
